Yanting Chen is a writer director and editor from Shenzhen, China and a graduate of English (Culture and Mass Communication) at GDUFS. Directing stage plays at university made her realize her passion for storytelling and brought her to study MA Filmmaking at London Film School.

Yanting has worked on 20+ short films with various styles and subjects in different roles such as writer director, editor, director of photography, and sound designer.

By being an honest filmmaker, she wishes to connect with the audience and make a difference in subjects she cares about in real life.
